The Yale-McGill Public Service Community is a regular gathering of the Yale and McGill students and alumni affiliated with the Clinton Foundation. The exchange offers the opportunity to build global relationships with like-minded peers outside of the office.

June 17, 2015: Welcome Dinner at Poco NYC
Mildred Franco, James Pascale and Joe Pascale hosted a dinner at tapas restaurant Poco NYC in Alphabet City to welcome the new interns to the Clinton Foundation. The participants in the Yale-McGill Public Service Exchange – fellows, alumni, staff and new interns affiliated with Yale and McGill – joined in for an evening of fellowship.

Mildred Franco, James Pascale and Joe Pascale hosted a tapas party at restaurant Poco NYC in Alphabet City. The participants in the Yale-McGill Public Service Exchange – fellows, interns, alumni and staff at the Clinton Foundation, affiliated with Yale and McGill – gathered to celebrate a summer of hard work.
January 29, 2014: Trip to Yale
James Pascale, benefactor of the Pascale International Fellows Program, and Julie Becker, Intern Program Manager at the Clinton Foundation visited Yale to discuss the Pascale International Fellowship with prospective Yale applicants. Robyn Acampora, Associate Director of Yale USC hosted the event.
James Pascale hosted a dinner at Mory’s. The guests were Julie Becker, Jay Gitlin, Michael Ressler, and Catherine Camp.

November 19, 2013: Trip to McGill
Julie Becker, Intern Program Manager at the Clinton Foundation and Carissa Connelly, a McGill graduate who interned at the Clinton Global Initiative, visited McGill to discuss the Pascale International Fellowship with prospective McGill applicants. Anne Turner, Faculty of Arts Internship Manager, hosted the event at McGill.
September 11, 2013: Farewell Dinner at Stanton
The members the Yale-McGill Public Service Community – staff, interns and alumni interns affiliated with Yale and McGill attended a farewell dinner at the Stanton Restaurant to close out a successful summer.

April 24, 2013: Pascale International Fellows Reception at Yale
Yale University’s Davenport College Dean Ryan Brasseaux and James Pascale, hosted a reception in Davenport College at Yale to celebrate the third year of the Pascale International Fellows Program at the Clinton Global Initiative. Friends of the 2013 Pascale Fellow, Rebecca Distler, joined in celebrating the program.
January 16, 2013: Trip to Yale
James Pascale and Julie Becker, Intern Program Manager at the Clinton Foundation visited Yale to discuss the Pascale International Fellowship with prospective Yale applicants. Meetings were held at 1) Yale School of Management hosted by Timothy Gabriele, Recruiting Coordinator; and 2) Yale UCS, hosted by Ken Koopmans, Associate Director UCS.

James Pascale, Julie Becker, Intern Program Manager at the Clinton Foundation, Celine Junke, Carissa Connelly and Samantha Cook, all McGill graduates and who interned at the Clinton Foundation, visited McGill to discuss the Pascale International Fellowship with prospective McGill applicants. Anne Turner, Faculty of Arts Internship Manager, hosted the event at McGill.
August 17, 2012: Graduation Event at the Yale Club of New York
James and Joe Pascale welcomed the entire summer 2012 class of interns from the Clinton Foundation and CGI, along with their staff supervisors, for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the library of the Yale Club of New York City. James, Joe, Julie Becker, and CGI staff celebrated a summer of hard work and new friends with tributes to each of the interns.
August 17, 2012: Lunch at Circo NYC
James and Joe Pascale hosted lunch for the participants in the Yale-McGill Public Service Exchange on the day of the Clinton Foundation’s graduation event. Just a few blocks from the CGI office, Circo offers “a lively, sophisticated setting reminiscent of the old-style European circus tents which inspired the restaurant’s name.”
July 28, 2012: High Tea at the Russian Tea Room
Two months into the Fellows Program, participants in the Yale-McGill Public Service Exchange gathered at the Russia Tea Room for High Tea to relax and reflect on their internships thus far. Joe Pascale, benefactor of the Fellows Program, joined to catch up with participants.

The participants in the Yale-McGill Public Service Exchange – staff and new interns affiliated with Yale and McGill – joined the Pascales to meet one another for the first time.

September 27, 2011: Farewell Dinner at GEMMA at the Bowery Hotel
While most summer interns conclude their work in late August, a smaller group of the members the Yale-McGill Public Service Community stayed on to support CGI through the Annual Meeting. These interns and fellows, along with CGI staff and a Yalie from the Fall 2011 intern class, gathered one final time to celebrate the summer.

Nearly two months into the Fellows Program, members the Yale-McGill Public Service Community gathered at ‘inoteca Lower East Side to relax and reflect on their internships thus far. Joe Pascale, benefactor of the Fellows Program, joined to catch up with participants and share in the delicious meal.

A month into the Fellows Program, participants in the Yale-McGill Public Service Exchange gathered at STK Rooftop to enjoy a beautiful sunset, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres. Only the summer intern participants in the Public Service Exchange attended this event, giving the Yalies and McGillians the opportunity to get to know one another in an informal setting.

Yale University’s Davenport College Master Richard Schottenfeld, Dean Craig Harwood, and James Pascale, hosted a reception in Davenport College at Yale to celebrate the inaugural year of the Pascale International Fellows Program at the Clinton Foundation. The Davenport Class of 2011 and friends of the 2011 Pascale Fellow, Ali Weiner, and Pascale Fellowship Finalists, Lydia Maurer and Naomi Lisan, joined in celebrating the program.
